Who are those guys?
In the now classic western movie, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, the two principal characters are being chased by a skilled posse after robbing a train. Despite their best efforts, the two can’t seem to shake off the pursuit. Every time Butch and Sundance thought they were home free, they sighted their pursuers, prompting them to say to one another, “Who are those guys?”
Keen observers of the political landscape are probably saying the same thing as the governance style of the new administration continues to unfold in Washington DC. What in the wild, wild West is going on? With now 42 executive orders/actions and proclamations signed, Joe Biden, and his progressive left helpers, along with the mainstream media/social media, are well on their way to crushing any opposition in their dictatorial march to remake the United States in such a manner that will make it unrecognizable from the Founders’ original vision.
These liberal busy beavers are working night and day to restore oppressive regulations that were killing the economy until President Trump brought a measure of common business sense to government. These loons look to spend two trillion bucks to combat climate change. Creating all kinds of regulations, cancelling pipeline construction, and rejoining the Paris Climate Accord sham, are all part of the push to control how Americans will live going forward. Someone even talked the military into declaring climate change to be a national security threat. What? Even Obama didn’t go that far.
Somehow these geniuses think that they can create jobs as the new administration kills the energy sector. Vice President Kamala Harris in a West Virginia television interview regarding their transitional energy policies stated, “All of those skilled workers who are in the coal industry and transferring those skills to what we need to do in terms of dealing with reclaiming abandoned land mines.” Doesn’t the Army take care of land mines? She was opining about workers losing jobs due to climate change policy and what they could do. It’s a decent bet that the last thing coal miners need is unemployment counseling from a liberal San Francisco lawyer. Can’t make this up.
Someone needs to tell her that the federal government doesn't create jobs, never has, never will. The private sector creates the jobs, not the federal government. But with this new administration, increasingly the federal government will tell the private corporations what to do. That's Joe Biden’s plan, telling the energy sector that they have to have create green jobs or else. Those jobs will be in the solar arena, erecting windmills, or reclaiming “abandoned land mines”. Ever wonder why these trees hugging climate change activists want to shut down the cleanest no polluting power source, nuclear? The technology has advance to point where it can be done safely. France generates 80% of its powder from that source. No apparent advocacy for this power supply in the new administration. It’s all about controlling lives.
The Biden Presidency is well on its way to becoming the most progressive, liberal administration in our national history. With increased taxes on the horizon, one of their objectives is to redistribute federal tax dollars to marginalized groups including African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans and others to be determined, as a cure for past inequities. In a country where equality is constantly expounded, how is this equality? And sadly, those who object to this redistribution of funds to certain groups, will be labeled as “racist” or “white supremacists”.
It’s evident that the social media platforms are being, and will continue to be, used as a means of tagging those who hold a contrary opinion to the progressive agenda. Folks joke about Facebook “jail”, but it does exist, and their censors are getting more aggressive every day. Post something that doesn’t fit the progressive liberal agenda and you’re done. Ask Donald Trump who’s been blown off Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. The schadenfreude communicated by the vast majority of the mainstream media outlets, regarding the former President’s censorship, is abundant. The progressives love silencing any contrarians.
To get away from “those guys”, there is a need to recognize where this objectionable ideology begins, the educational system. Beginning in elementary school, the indoctrination starts by teaching that the fundamentals of the Americas founding principles and the molders of that philosophy are deeply flawed. In San Francisco, the looney elected officials have decided to remove the names of schools like Lincoln, Washington, and Jefferson. The children are being brainwashed, and yet where is the outcry against this madness?
Finally, how healthy is it to describe tens of millions of people as domestic terrorists because they voted for the guy that lost to Biden? Why is there an advocacy to re-focus the surveillance and counterterrorism industry against the half of America whose candidate just lost an election? The addled idiots who stormed the Capital building are not representative of that voting block anymore that the Antifa/BLM thugs represent the democrats. This is not Cuba or the Communist China.
It’s time to do everything we can to escape “those guys”.
