Enough Already

The winds weren’t even a whisper before the global warming loons began the senseless ranting that Hurricane Ian was the result of climate change. The term “global warming” is passé now and is not used in the elitist world of Greta Thunberg fans. Nevertheless the rush to stampede folks into the “belief corral” that humans cause hurricanes, was breathtaking. Even Joe Biden opined during his Florida visit that Hurricane Ian was evidence of climate change.

However, the Biden regime’s top hurricane expert Jamie Rhome, director of the National Hurricane Center, pushed back against such claims, saying there wasn't enough evidence to tie the storm to climate change. "We can come back and talk about climate change at a later time. I want to focus on the here and now.”, he told CNN in an interview.

There is absolutely no evidence that Ian was caused by human beings.  No scientist worth his salt has stated that the most powerful hurricane ever recorded, “The Great Labor Day Hurricane of 1935” (before names were assigned to the storms) was due to climate change. Winds were clocked at 185 mph, and no one reported at the time that it was induced by mankind. Same holds true for Hurricane Camille in 1969. Hurricanes and typhons aren’t going away just because you’re driving an electric car…nor will earthquakes. Enough already.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are not a solution to pollution.  Fact is that when the amount of energy needed to build them and their lithium batteries is calculated, the numbers are staggering. The minerals required for these politically correct vehicles are known as rare earth elements…because they are rare. Guess who has a lot of these deposits?  China. There will never be enough windmills and solar panels to meet the charging needs of these vehicles.

It's ironic that the greatest polluter in the world has the corner on the market of these essential ingredients. There is no vigorous EPA to police the environmental destruction documented when the Chinese mine these elements or produce the batteries. China has coal fired power plants belching unscrubbed smoke into the air with no regard to the effect on air quality.  Routinely they dump waste in rivers and the ocean. Look up the huge trash island floating in the Pacific.  The United States didn’t create it. EVs don’t save the environment. Enough already.

The US southern border is a mess.  Even former President Bill Clinton has admitted as much in a recent interview. When do you suppose the current government in DC will wake up and restore the security of it? Not likely given the tone-deaf Secretary of Homeland Security or his pal, the “Border Czar”, Vice President Harris. The Rio Grande River in Eagle Pass, Texas continues to look like the start of the swim competition in an Ironman Triathlon. Tragically, a fair number of the illegals seeking American largess can’t swim and drownings are at record levels. Will Joe secure the border? When pigs fly. Enough already.

Day after day the media reports the increasing rampant crime wave sweeping the Nation, with record levels of random assaults, robberies, and murders. And day after day there isn’t a verifiable positive policy solution from the current regime. The ten biggest cities in America are run by progressive democrats with equally progressive woke district attorneys.  These numbskulls by in large, enjoy police protection not available to the general population.  These are the same clowns that embraced the “defund the police” movement in the wake of career criminal George Floyd’s death at the hands of a rogue cop. Now with the midterm elections looming, this same crew looks like Olympic sprinters, high tailing it away from that defund position. Enough already.

Vice President Kamala Harris stepped in it again when she offered another classic word salad regarding the distribution of aid to hurricane victims.  "We have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity. Understanding not everyone starts out at the same place, and if we want people to be in an equal place, sometimes we have to take into account those disparities." Hurricanes don’t believe in equity or equality.  Everyone, regardless of color or ethnicity gets wacked. After declaring our strong alliance with the Republic of North Korea while on a trip to South Korea, she continues to blithely walk on her own verbal landmines. Enough already.

Then there’s President Joe Biden who told the Fort Myers Beach Mayor Ray Murphy, “No one f---- with a Biden." Can’t make this stuff up, but this isn’t the first time Joe’s sounded like a dockworker. In view of all his tall tales, gaffes and malaprops, this statement might be true. The FBI has apparently declined to vigorously investigate the allegations that Joe, in the role of “Big Guy”, was a beneficiary of his son’s sales efforts.  Hunter was peddling influence on a grand scale to international clients, cleaning up financially.  The agency’s efforts are tepid at best. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden on the other hand remains in deep doo-doo, according to the Washington Post.

President Joe is also dodging a comprehensive cognitive test to prove that he does have all the dots on his dice. According to the media there’s nothing alarming about Joe calling out or looking for a dead congresswoman at an event or attempting to shake hands with non-existing people. Disturbing behavior to say the least.

The media and democratic partisans insisted that former presidential physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson to give Trump the test.  Trump agreed and passed the test. Then at the insistence of the media, Dr. Jackson had to have a full-blown news conference to discuss the President’s results and health that lasted over an hour. Folks deserve to know that the most powerful leader in the world has all his horses at the trough. Fat Chance that Joe will ever have that exam. Enough already.
