It’s the Holiday Season
Despite all the chaos and hatred ravaging the world, it’s that time of year when we celebrate the blessings of the holiday season. Most Americans have observed Thanksgiving with food and family and used the day after, Black Friday, to spend their blessings on gifts. Now the majority of Americans are moving on to Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations. Unfortunately this year more than the usual number of loons and radicals seek to disrupt the festivities, pushing assorted agendas.
Prominent among these activists are Hamas supporters, calling for the end of Israel’s response to the October 7 sneak attack and slaughter of peaceful farmers and music lovers in southern Israel. These ignorant supporters of the savages, who committed unspeakable horrors against innocents, took on the New York City Police Department Wednesday night in an attempt to prevent the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. The police prevailed and the radicals were pushed back.
Apparently, they believe that there should be no retaliation by the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) for Hamas’ barbaric attack on October 7. These radical antisemites would have demonstrated against a response to the Twin Towers given the chance. The misinformed and ill-educated participants in this stunning display of hate speaks volumes to what has happened to the educational system in the United States. No one has been taught what the foundational premise of the Hamas terrorist network. They are every bit as heinous as ISIS and their Iranian backers.
Because of the current progressive government policies embraced by the ruling regime, there’s a palpable fear in major cities across the Nation where criminals are running wild. Law enforcement has been hamstrung by an uncaring Department of Justice, more concerned with prosecuting a former President, than cracking down on real crime. Radical District Attorneys refuse to get after those who are responsible for the epidemic of smash and grab theft or nailing the thugs robbing folks on the streets and in restaurants. This has put an uneasy edge on what should be a joyous season. A Christmas shopper should not have to clutch their purse or wallet while constantly watching their back.
The divisiveness that is found throughout the Nation is unlike anytime since the Civil War. All one needed to do was watch the debate Red State vs Blue State featuring the Governors of Florida and California, Ron Desantis (R) and Gavin Newsom (D). The only thing they had in common was each was wearing a very nice blue suit. Gavin was hard pressed to defend the progressive agenda, so he made it about Trump, abortion, and the soaring success of Bidenomics. Ron countered with the cost of gas, lower taxes, and quality of education in Florida. Each made a convincing case for their constituencies although Newsome has an arrogant patrician air about him that is off putting and obvious to the most casual observer.
It is indeed unfortunate that the state of the Nation is such that folks can’t give the President more that a 35% approval rating and wonder if he’s got all his horses up to the trough. One thing for sure, all of Santa’s reindeer are up to the trough and he’ll be here soon.
And the upcoming Holidays are meant to unite everyone.
