The Blame Game
Ever notice that when anything major happens in the nation, the Biden Regime blames Trump or the Republicans, MAGA or not. Joe rushes to the nearest podium, seconds after the big teleprompter is set up, and reads whatever his minders have written. Trump is responsible for the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. Trump is the one who created the current migrant invasion, and the latest absurdity to come out, Trump’s administration policies caused the Silicon Valley Bank to fail. At least he didn’t make Trump responsible for the transgender loon who killed 6 at a Presbyterian Christian school in Nashville.
Sadly, before reading what had been written for him regarding the Nashville tragedy, Joe first said that he came into a scheduled small business meeting at the White House for the chocolate chip ice cream. The man looked like a dimwit babbling about ice cream before he read his prepared statement expressing his outrage and renewing his call for extreme gun control. Once again, nothing about emphasizing mental health awareness and treatment. Blame the gun not the nut. It’s a fact that the man is tone deaf. You just can’t make this nonsense up.
His writers ought to be taken out back for some corporal punishment. Their knee jerk responses to every crisis or national incident are always to deflect all culpability away from the “Big Guy” and blame the Republicans. Even their favorite fish wrap, The Washington Post, had to issue a retraction regarding the East Palestine train derailment, stating that no regulations that Trump rescinded regarding railroads had anything to do with the accident. Did you see that retraction or correction from the Biden Regime? Not a chance.
Then the binder reader, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, spoke off binder about the border chaos and later the Nashville slaughter. She said that Joe’s present immigration policy was working to correct the flawed ones that were in effect previously. Videos have surfaced of migrants swarming an El Paso border crossing, only to be held back by shielded border patrol agents behind temporary barriers across the roadway. Does anyone recall illegals charging over a bridge when Trump was President?
In another appearance Karine said the following regarding the shooting in Tennessee, "What I will say to Republicans in Congress is: ‘What are you going to say to these parents? What are you going to say to these family members?’ Someone tell her the shooter was a crazed 28-year-old woman who wanted to be a man, living at home with 7 weapons and was being treated for an emotional disorder. Republicans has nothing to do with it any more than Democrats did. Maybe her parents, doctors and friends bear some blame as they had some responsibility and saw that this person was unwell and should have alerted authorities to the monster that was growing inside.
Day after day the border leeks like a sieve while Joe and his partisan pals blame Trump’s administration for the problem. The Regime’s constant scapegoating is getting tiresome. Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas was disgraceful and disingenuous when he testified before the Senate this week. He wouldn’t even acknowledge his own Border Patrol Chief’s testimony that the southern border was not secure. Now the crooked socialist who runs Mexico, Lopez-Obrador, claims that his country is blameless for the Fentanyl epidemic and that his nation has nothing to do with it. That’s like saying Putin is one of the world’s biggest human rights advocates.
Silicon Valley Bank’s (SVB) descent into the financial commode was not entirely unexpected. Seems that last July, on an investors’ call, some major stakeholders voiced their concerns about the bank prioritizing politics over shareholders’ returns. The transcript of the call noted that SVB had $137 million of investment losses. Rather than address the issues raised by callers, the representatives from SVB used the call to boast about the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion measures as well as its commitment to gay pride. Given that the bank is in the heart of the whackiest, woke part of California, who’s surprised? The basic problem was that SVB’s large deposits were in low interest government securities, and as Joe’s flawed economic policies created a record inflation rate, the yields on government treasury securities increased making the one’s SVB held decrease in value. So when customer demand for cash increased, the bank was short of it. To raise the necessary cash to meet depositors demands, the bank would have to sell those assets at a huge loss. That precipitated the collapse. And now you know the rest of the story.
A side note, it turns out that California Governor Gavin Newsom’s various business enterprises had a considerable amount of cash in SVB. Reportedly, he was lobbying Joe to make the bank whole when rumors started that SVB was in difficult straits. Joe did. And as it has been revealed, there was a lot more “Friends of Joe” (FOJ) who had millions deposited that they would have lost, if those funds were only covered by the FDIC insurance deposit limit of $250,000. After all what are friends for.
The blame game can be found throughout the current Regime. If there is a major troubling issue in any bureau, you can bet the farm that the finger of blame will be pointed at the Republicans or Trump. Wouldn’t it be nice if some of these government lug nuts who are waiting for their fat pensions, consider taking responsibility for their actions. Not a chance.
In the meantime, don’t get trampled when Biden shuffles quickly to the prompter.
