The Hate Must End
Violence follows hatred.
In Butler, Pennsylvania an attempted assassination of former President Donald J. Trump took place barely 10 minutes into his political rally, witnessed by thousands and perhaps millions on live broadcast television. The video of the shooting has been run endlessly. Trump shot in the ear, surrounded by his Secret Service security detail was lifted to his feet and thrust his fist in the air, letting the crowd know he was all right. Tragically, one attendee was killed and two severely wounded by the shooter who was neutralized by a Secret Service sniper.
How did this happen? There was an obvious breach in the security. Trump’s Secret Service security detail has requested for months, according to well-placed sources, that his detail be expanded. Their requests have been routinely denied by the Department of Homeland Security and the Secret Service. Why? Robert F. Kennedy Jr., also running for the Presidency, has asked for Secret Service protection as well. He too has been denied. Never mind that his father and uncle were assassinated.
The Director of the United States Secret Service is Kim Cheatle, appointed by Joe in 2022. She makes the call in conjunction with Alejandro Mayorkas the Secretary of Homeland Security regarding who gets what protection and how much. What is not well known is that Cheatle was assigned to Joe Biden’s Vice Presidential detail during the Obama reign. It’s safe to say that Kim and Alejandro are in the Biden camp. Draw your own conclusions. Hopefully these two dunces will increase Trump’s detail and give Robert F. Kennedy Jr. the protection he deserves.
Hate is the result of rhetoric.
Since the day Donald J. Trump was elected in 2016, he has been the target of the most vicious verbal attacks in American political history. The relentless print and broadcast beat down has been nonstop since November 8, 2016. The bitter operatives of the progressive left, the “Deep State” and damn near every prominent Democrat office holder, have labeled him as a Fascist, a Nazi, a Racist, a Rapist, a Homophobe, a Dictator and Hitler. These are just the mild descriptions. Anyone who has access to Smart phone, a television or who can read a newspaper knows this to be the truth. Let’s start with some recent nastiness.
President Joe Biden said on July 8, 2024: "We’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye." Did that inspire the shooter?
Here’s another beauty as Trump would say, from Vice President Kamal Harris: “Donald Trump has openly vowed if re-elected he’ll be a dictator on day one, that he will weaponize the Department of Justice against his political enemies, round up peaceful protesters and throw them out of our country and even, and even and I quote, ‘terminate’ the United States Constitution.” There isn’t a shred to truth to that statement by Willie Brown’s ex-girlfriend.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) last week on MSNBC said: "Trump is such an authoritarian and autocrat, we have to win this election. This is not a normal election ... This is something that is undermining our democracy. He must be stopped. He cannot be president!”
Rep Maxine Waters (D-CA) in a recent interview on MSNBC said: “Donald Trump is a pure racist.”
Joy Reid of MSNBC said: “Keep Hitler out of the White House.”
The New Republic, a leading liberal progressive publication, the print Bible of the left, has Trump on its latest cover depicted as Hitler. This is not the only publication that has created a caricature of Trump using a Hitler mustache.
Eight years of the aforementioned hate speech, directed at Donald Trump has brought the Nation to this point. This kind of loathing dialog is what drives political violence, and it soils our democratic republic. It’s a miracle that this assassination attempt didn’t happen earlier by some other hate filled loon. Former Attorney General Bill Barr’s stated Saturday night: “The Democrats have to stop their grossly irresponsible talk about Trump being an existential threat to democracy, he is not.”
Any veteran who has experienced combat will tell you that the experience exposes a man’s character. Being under fire reveals who you are. That answer is revealed the moment it first happens. President Trump’s character has been revealed. He was shot at and hit, stood up, and with blood pouring from his right ear, raised his fist and yelled, “Fight, Fight, Fight!” Name another Billionaire who would fight for his country like this man, Gates, Buffet, Bezos or Zuckerberg. Not a chance.
Donald J. Trump cares deeply about the United States and he does not need this hate, but the country needs his leadership because the current Regime leader is a cognitive mess.
