The Peacemaker
Hard to believe but there is an element in the body politic that is rooting actively against President Trump’s effort to end the senseless war in Ukraine. Prior to the Trump-Putin confab, and immediately after, the media ignorant pundits were in full throat, offering opinions that had no basis in fact.
Nicole Wallace of MSNBC, former communication director for President George W. Bush, is a well-known Trump hater. She offered this analysis. “But clearly, Trump was not in control of anything. I mean, Putin was the alpha all day long, from Trump holding on his plane and waiting for him like a middle schooler waiting for their first date."
Was she in the meeting? By all accounts she was in studio, sipping a latte, furiously writing fiction for her audience. Frankly she’s an overpaid windbag who is a certified member of the DC Swamp.
Then there’s Obama’s former Ambassador to Russia, Michael McFall, a confirmed sufferer of TDS who offered this bizarre assessment. "So, Ukraine is actually worse off under President Trump, and this myth that he keeps going back to, and Putin did him the courtesy of underscoring the myth that there would be no war and everything is better under President Donald Trump. The facts on the ground are exactly the opposite."
Does this pseudo-diplomat not know that the war started on Joe Biden’s watch? The facts are Mr. former Ambassador, that Putin wouldn’t even return a call from Joe Biden because he knew that Joe was weak and didn’t have all his horses up to the trough. American citizens were in the dark since legacy media sheltered the hapless, diminished President. Meanwhile his minions were spending the Nation’s treasure on weapons and making no effort to pursue peace in the Ukraine war.
Ambassador John Bolton, who Trump fired during his first term, is a certified Trump hater and his analysis of the Trump-Putin meeting was that it was going to fail, it's going to be terrible. What nonsense. Another clueless TDS sufferer who needs to sit down and shut up. Let the President be a peacemaker.
President Donald J. Trump can stop the madness, the bloodshed, and that was verified when all the major European leaders showed up at the White House Monday. All of them were unified in their support of Trump’s efforts to get some kind of framework for a peaceful settlement of the hostilities. Yet by all accounts, the broadcast and print media continued to pooh pooh his efforts. No right-minded person can ever recall such a concerted labor to torpedo the peace process by the Fourth Estate.
The usual suspects are also becoming unhinged over the effort to end criminal activity and clean up the homeless encampments in the Nation’s capital. It’s unbelievable but true. The latest attack on a government employee who was beaten bloody while stopping thugs who were attempting to car jack a woman, was the last straw. The President legally federalized the DC police and called in the National Guard, FBI and Park Police to end the epidemic of lawlessness in the National Capital.
Immediately, demonstrators converged on the White House holding up professional looking protest signs and screeching through bullhorns. “Free DC!”. A careful demographic examination of these and subsequent demonstrators exposed that the majority were white folks who looked nothing like the residents of the crime infested wards of DC. They looked like a bunch of entitled suburban loons who have never been affected by rampant crime.
Wards 7 and 8 in Washinton DC, particularly areas like Anacostia and Brentwood, have the highest rates of violent crime. The majority population is Black. Interviews with those residents revealed that they welcomed the additional patrols. They are tired of being prisoners in their own homes. It must have been painful for the newsroom editors to publish and broadcast this positive response from the people who are actually suffering from runaway crime.
The hatred of a President at the current levels is unprecedented. If President Trump discovered a cure for cancer, within a nanosecond, crowds would be protesting that they had a right to die from the disease. A long time ago a man known as The Nazarene said, "Blessed are the peacemakers".
The Peacemaker is working to make the world and the streets of DC safe.
