What Country is This?
It’s about time for Americans to wake up and look around at the chaos, the suppression of personal freedoms, and the increasing heavy hand of the federal and some state governments on the everyday folks. The “Great Uniter” who replaced the “Mean Tweeter” has, in a little over nine months made a mess of the Nation. Joe Biden talks (reads) to the Nation like the pastor of a mega church who’s never read the Bible, telling folks how his divine plans to remake the country are the answers to their prayers. The only problem is nobody prayed for this mess he’s created. Maybe the current mess is the result of voter ignorance, naiveté, and just plain stupidity.
Joe’s minister of propaganda, Jen “Pinocchio” Psaki dutifully puts out the Administration’s talking points nearly every day in a press briefing that’s a laughable mishmash of policy announcements and position obfuscations. The bobble-head press attendees devotedly take down her decrees and ask compliant, almost scripted questions. There are a couple of exceptions. Peter Doocy, Fox News White House correspondent, continues to joust with Jen asking penetrating questions that clearly irritate her. When Emerald Robinson of the conservative cable network Newsmax, asked her if Hunter Biden had divested himself of his Chinese investments, Jen was clearly agitated and wouldn’t answer, referring her to young Biden’s representatives. Doubtful that Emerald will ever get called on again. Since Fox is considered a major network, Peter is safe.
Since Joe rarely takes questions, we have learned from Jen that the southern border is secure and closed. That any problems we have with the border are Trump’s fault despite the record number of illegals entering the country. The outright lying that she oversees is at the least astonishing, if not troubling. Anyone who has a flatscreen tuned to a news outlet can see the invasion as even the major networks can’t closet it any longer. The unvetted possible disease carrying “undocumented non-citizen migrants” (illegal aliens) are flooding the country at levels unseen in over 25 years. Even Obama recently said in a recent ABC News interview, “At the same time, we’re a nation state. We have borders. The idea that we can just have open borders is something that, as a practical matter, is unsustainable”. Someone tell Jen to let Joe know what the former President said, please.
Evidently the enemy of the Nation are the people living legally here according to the current administration. Joe’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, has instructed the FBI to mobilize against parents who oppose critical race theory taught in public school, citing "threats" to school board members from parents who are less than pleased about the curriculum and mandates their children are subject to. The Justice Department looks like it is repurposing federal law enforcement to target perceived political opposition to the grand plans of Joe and his handlers. They want to reclassify dissent as "disinformation" and "domestic terrorism," to justify their proposed extraordinary interference in local matters. The genesis of this heinous policy is the result of the National School Board Association's request to classify protests as "domestic terrorism." These school board boobs clearly don’t know the difference between free speech and terrorism. They should be replaced if they are that stupid. This is government intimidation; pure and simple. Concerned parents are not in the same league as Antifa. Merrick ought to be directing the FBI at those anarchists. Fat chance.
Hidden in the giant spending bill on Infrastructure Bill is a provision to report any bank transaction over $600 by every American. This is one of the most egregious breeches of personal liberty ever conceived. Joe even had the temerity to speak (read) to the Nation on the matter, letting the folks know that this new policy will catch more tax cheaters. Never mind that his son is being investigated for income tax evasion on millions of dollars of suspect income. He has proposed a vast expansion of the IRS, hiring thousands of revenue agents, allocating 80 billion dollars to this invasion of privacy. This Nation doesn’t need Biden’s Revenue Gestapo. Joe’s proposed tax increase on corporations and on those individuals making over $400,000 per year apparently won’t be sufficient to fund his socialist remake of the American economy. For the record, those making less than the large bucks cited, will still find that the corporations who get hammered by Joe will simply increase the cost of their products. Someone tell Joe the basics of corporate economics since he’s never had a job in the private sector. You’ll find him in the White House basement.
The Biden Administration messes are hard to ignore. There are even more that remain yet to be covered in this blog. The daily chaos that Joe presides over is filtering down to ordinary Americans as they see the cost of goods and services increase every day. This is the fruit of nearly 50 years of “experience” in Washington DC by a now befuddled, teleprompter reader who hasn’t got a clue what is really happening in the Nation he was elected to lead.
