A Couple of Grifters

A "grifter" is commonly understood to be a con artist—an individual who acquires money through deception, swindling, or trickery. Grifters rely on manipulating others for their own personal gain, often exploiting trust or creating elaborate schemes to separate people from their money.

Within the realm of politics, the term takes on a specific meaning. Here, "grifter" refers to an individual who uses the political process as a means of personal enrichment. Rather than participating in politics for the public good, the individual sees opportunities to profit from their position or influence, prioritizing self-interest over service.

International Grifter and Drug Lord, Nicholas Maduro found himself in Diddy’s old Manhattan jail cell after stubbornly refusing to leave Venezuela after Trump repeatedly asked him to step down as President. Captured by the United States Army’s elite Delta Force in a daring nighttime raid on his fortified compound, Nick won’t be spending his ill-gotten gains while incarcerated, waiting for his narco-terrorism trial. He will have the “warmth of collectivism” to keep him comfy in jail…for a long time.

Strangely, there were protests in the United States over his capture.  Withing hours, crowds with professional “Free Maduro”, “No Blood for Oil” and “Free Venezuela” signs, were marching in Los Angeles, New York, and other major metropolitan cities. More evidence that even when Trump’s Justice Department, aided by the US Military executes the arrest of a provable, indicted Narco-Terrorist, the left goes ape sh*t.

Senator Chuck “U” Schumer rushed to ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopolis to rail about this illegal invasion of a sovereign nation. "There is no authority... they did not just do ships off the water. They went inside Venezuela, bombed civilian as well as military places, and it's a violation of the law to do what they did without getting the authorization of Congress." He used the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) passed by Congress after the 9/11 attacks so the military could aid the Justice Department in arresting Maduro. Same law is still in effect Chuck.

Never mind that there is ample evidence of him excoriating Trump 5 years ago for not doing anything about Maduro. He said then, “The president brags about his Venezuela policy? Give us a break. He hasn’t brought an end to the Maduro regime, the Maduro regime is more powerful today and more entrenched today than it was when the president began his anti-Maduro.” What a colossal hypocrite. Did the legacy media report this? Nope.

He wasn’t alone, former Vice President Kamala Harris offered these gems. “This is not about drugs or democracy. It is about oil and Donald Trump’s desire to play the regional strongman.” “Wars for regime change or oil that are sold as strength but turn into chaos, and American families pay the price." Huh? Whose family? Name one. Hey Kamala, how come you and Joe upped the reward for his capture and arrest to 25 million dollars last January? And she could have been President?

The leader of the Democratic Party, Rep. Sandy Cortez (AOC) weighed in as well, but her comments were so inconsequential that they don’t bear consideration. Why she gets airtime on the legacy media is one of the great mysteries of our time. The only democrat Senator supporting the operation was John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, and one had to hunt to find his praise for the apprehension of Maduro.

None of these Democrats are bright enough to know the difference between a war and an arrest. There was no war, there was an arrest. Plain and simple.

Another grifter who got caught up in his own hubris was Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. The expanding child care scandal in his state, now estimated to be as much as 9 billion dollars, drove him to withdraw from his race for a third term as the state’s leader. He said he needed to concentrate on taking care of the state’s business.

Before he withdrew, he was only too eager to blame the looting of the Minnesota treasury by immigrant Somali thugs as racist. A 23-year-old investigative reporter Nick Shirley, who was armed with a smart phone, videoed numerous childcare centers with no children, exposing the theft. Documents indicated they were raking in the “large” by playing find ‘em and fool ‘em with the clueless state government officials.

Tim looked as nervous as a cat in litter box when complaining about the reports. Has he been on the take? It’s no surprise that there has been scant coverage of this massive theft of taxpayer dollars. Tim is still a media darling.

The Somalis have a long history of piracy. In Minnesota plus other states, they are taking “Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of rum” to new heights.  Evidence is bubbling up that Washington, California, Illinois and New York state treasuries are victims of their fraudulent activities. This isn’t about racism, this is about blatant criminal behavior by a tribal culture gaming the system.

Unfortunately, the legacy media is practicing their own from of grifting by deceiving the Nation with a massive failure to investigate and report crooked behavior by the largely democrat constituency.  The majority of political contributions made by the Somali community have been to Democrat candidates. Fact.

In this new year, you can bet the farm that this is only the beginning of the current Administration ending the grift and correcting the failures to monitor taxpayer dollars.

Now if only the legacy media would report the same and not leave investigative reporting to a 23-year-old’s cell phone videos. While they are at it, the media should report facts not ideology.

Finally learn the difference between a war and an arrest, then tell Chuck.
