Being Played
The Nation is being played like gangster Henry Gondorff was in the movie The Sting. Joseph Biden is living up to his middle name, Robinette, taking from many and giving to the few. His latest scam is forgiving government student loan debt. It is estimated that the beneficiaries of Joe’s largess will be those individuals who amassed their debt while pursuing advanced degrees. Joe the Plumber and those who paid off their debt or worked their way through college, will eventually pay higher taxes to cover these overeducated slackers. Naturally, the Regime expects that these bright lights will vote democrat in the fall midterm election. Robinette Biden and his merry minions strike again.
The mainstream corporate media has already started tub thumping about the benefits that will result from this generosity. Benefits? What in the wild world of sports are these numbskulls thinking? By using the Covid-19 crises to justify this blessing on the basement dwelling scholars and entitled elites, with useless or advanced degrees, Big Joey has run into a Constitutional problem. In April this same bunch said the pandemic crisis was behind us. Huh? The Nation’s purse strings are controlled by the Congress and not the executive branch of the government. But when has the Constitution stopped these progressive activists? Already a case is building that this crew violated Trump’s Fourth Amendment rights in the Mar-a-Lago raid.
Just in case Joe missed it, the Constitution, Article I, section 9, clause 7 states: “No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.”
The bottom line, forgiving student loans is a slap in the face to every tradesman and blue-collar worker in the country. Not to mention all college grads that have paid off their loans. That's a sizable portion of the electorate you’re slapping Joe. It’s irresponsible and unfair. Estimates are that this could be up to a $500-dollar billion slap to the taxpayers.
The other play by Joe and the gang is the Inflation Reduction Act. This is such a dishonest characterization of the bill passed and signed last week that it makes a street corner game of 3-Card Monte look legitimate. There isn’t a shred of evidence that this boondoggle will reduce the current rate of inflation. In fact, most economist worth their salt opined that this massive spending bill will accelerate the rate of inflation.
This is all about climate change with subsidies and spending for all manner of clean energy sources. For example the government will give you a $7,500 tax credit for buying and electric vehicle, which the average price is now about $66,000 plus about $2,000 home port charger. Coincidently, a lot of EV manufacturers raised their prices about that same amount when the bill was signed. Hmmmm. Of course, Joe the Plumber is going to rush out and buy a Ford 150 Lighting truck, average cost $70,000+ to replace his paid for, gasoline F-150. Wrong.
Recently biologists in Wyoming reported that the Golden Eagle population was dramatically endangered. Their shrinking numbers are a result of the massive increase in windmills throughout the state. With seven-foot wingspans these magnificent birds fly into the blades in pursuit of prey. Never heard of these birds being killed by clean burning natural gas electrical plants or nuclear generating ones. Wonder if the Bald Eagle is suffering the same fate? Windmills kill birds, lots of them. Fact.
The bill has massive subsidies for solar panel purchases. The majority of which are made in China. Great news for those connected to the Chinese manufacturers but not so much for domestic producers who can’t compete with cheap or slave labor in the People’s Republic. Of course the “Greeniacs” aren’t going to let this get reported in the corporate media. Doesn’t fit their end of the world narrative due to climate change.
Americans will wise up before the “Big Guy” of Hunter Biden email fame and his minions realize it. The coastal elites are in for a surprise in November.
As the saying goes “That dog won’t hunt”, nor will that dog get played either.
