Dizzy Miss Lizzy
Congresswoman Elizabeth Cheney was soundly defeated in the Wyoming republican primary election as she sought to retain her seat as that state’s only member in the House. Liz has become nationally know as a vociferous member of the January 6th Committee who are playing “pin the blame on Trump” for that day’s Capital riot and brake-in. Her venom knows no bounds when it comes to the former President.
Raised mostly in the DC metroplex, even though she was born in Wyoming, Liz deigned to visit her mother state to cast her ballot in Tuesday’s primary. She posted a picture of herself voting at the polling place on Twitter with the following statement. “Proud to cast my ballot today. The challenges we are facing require serious leaders who will abide by their oath and uphold the Constitution - no matter what.” Such a noble thought by her.
She is right on one thing, requiring serious leaders who abide by their oath and uphold the constitution. If that were the case then why isn’t she raising cain about Joe Biden’s border policy or his out of control Justice Department? No way will you find Liz in that camp, questioning the conduct of Attorney General Merrill Garland or FBI Director Robert Wray and their roles in the raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. Doesn’t fit her agenda as she continues to suffer from”Trump Derangement Syndrome”.
Obviously she is out of step with her constituents, as the most recent results show she got 29% of the vote while her opponent got 66%. In her concession speech she remained defiant regarding her remaining time in office. “I have said since January 6th that I will do whatever it takes to ensure Donald Trump is never again anywhere near the Oval Office — and I mean it.” She is clearly working for the 29% who supported her in the election and remains out of step with respect to her state’s priorities.
Without a doubt, the high visibility created by the circus atmosphere of the committee hearings that involve no cross examination by opposing views, has not sat well with the common sense values resident in Wyoming. Being part of another unfair partisan witch-hunt directed at the former President hasn’t endeared her to a lot of folks. They figured out that her grandiose view of herself was too much to return her as their advocate in Congress. Some pundits have reported that Liz is considering a run for president in 2024. Elmer Fudd would have a better shot at the office than this narcissistic, bitter woman.
If she were truly concerned about the Constitution, she would be shouting from the roof tops about the trampling of citizen rights that have been obliterated in FBI raids. There is increasing evidence that Mar-a-Lago break-in was a fishing expedition for Liz’s beloved January 6th Committee. It takes a lot of unmitigated gall by her, to call for leaders to uphold the Constitution, when it comes to the continued discovery of legal malfeasance in the regime’s move on Trump by the FBI.

Indeed as the classic rock song opens, Wyoming voters didn’t want her to make them dizzy and furthermore her way to rock or roll was unacceptable. Aligning with Speaker Pelosi may work in the swamp, but does not play well in the Cowboy State.
