Breaking the Law
Seems that the media is focused on the trials of Trump rather that the trials of criminals that are wreaking havoc on major American cities. Now that should surprise no one given their track record of unabashed support of the progressive leaders currently in charge. If you read or watch the mainstream media, you wouldn’t know that there is an unbelievable amount of criminal disorder in the Nation’s largest metropolitan areas. Nobody is getting arrested, jailed and tried for a lot of offenses, they just get released to create even more mayhem.
The reason is simple. Current laws are not being enforced or have been weakened by the increasing number of progressive District Attorneys. By now most have heard about the police detective, Jonathan Diller, who was gunned down by a career criminal in New York City. 7,000 police officers attended his funeral. It did get some national coverage. What didn’t get covered nationally was the killer, Guy Rivera, who had been arrested 21 times for gun and drug charges, had served minimal time and was out plotting his next crime when he shot Detective Diller.
Naturally the Nation has heard absolutely nothing from the current President, but the former President Trump has not been silent about this crime and others. He routinely refers to these perpetrators as animals, whether they are here legally or illegally. So, what does the media focus on? Trump’s use of the term “animal” to describe these killers. He referred to the murder of Laken Riley, the Georgia nursing student, as having been committed by an “illegal animal”. The progressive media went nuts. Can’t make this stuff up.
A civilized society has its foundation built on enforceable, fair laws that ensure that the members will be able to pursue their lives free from the threat of miscreants who want to impose their evil behavior on others. Punishment of criminals is what keeps the violence from becoming commonplace. Jails are a good place for the offenders. Nothing wrong with putting those who can’t abide in the slammer. It is not cruel. It is necessary.
Gun sales are at record levels. Folks know that if their home is invaded by criminals, and by the time the cops get there, the crime has been committed or they have been harmed. No mystery about that. Citizens of all colors are taking advantage of the Second Amendment to protect their families and homes.
The police are overwhelmed and understaffed because of the idiotic movement to defund the police. That effort stemmed from the death of career criminal and drug addict George Floyd at the hands of a rogue police officer. The now fraudulent Black Lives Matter organization was at the forefront of the attack on law enforcement. The founders enriched themselves and did great damage to the Nation’s police forces. Now affected cities are scrambling to recruit and reinforce their police forces.
Compounding the lawlessness that’s plaguing the United States is illegal immigration, massive lawbreaking allowed by the President. Look no further than the Big Apple, New York City, which has an enormous problem. Because it’s a sanctuary city where illegals can get a lot of freebies from the city and state, they have descended on the town like locust. This week illegal alien squatters were discovered running a drug operation out of a basement apartment in the Bronx. The Venezuela gang members had been recently arrested and released by a progressive judge. The police were not allowed to turn them over to ICE (Immigration and Custom Enforcement) because of sanctuary city rules the progressive leftists have imposed. ICE finally apprehended them. One can only hope that they get deported before some bleeding-heart attorney intervenes.
The Nation will have to wait until folks wake up and throw these nincompoop elitists at the ballot box. They are destroying the the country through their governing malfeasance. They should start by throwing out the biggest law breaker, the one who won’t enforce the existing immigration laws, President Joesph R. Biden.
Let’s hope they don’t oversleep.
