Lies and Deceit
Simply put, a lie is when something known to be untrue by the presenter is represented to be the truth. Deceit is when the lie is compounded by concealment and distortion. Lately there has been a lot, thanks to the current regime and the corporate mainstream media. One must do some serious digging to discover what is and what isn’t media/government propaganda.
There’s a reason the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is winning the Pinocchio awards for her daily prevarications. But it’s not all her fault because most of the bobble head nodding reporters who gather in the Brady Press room are equally at fault. There isn’t a Sam Donaldson or a Dan Rather or a Helen Thomas to ask the tough questions. Peter Doocy of Fox comes close to putting pressure on the White House for straight answers but is largely ignored…except when Biden referred to him as a “dumb son of a bitch” when he asked a question Joe didn’t like.
Take the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. In October of 2020, the New York Post, the nation’s oldest newspaper broke the story of presidential candidate Biden’s son’s Apple laptop and its salacious and possible criminal activity content. Seems Hunter left the laptop in a repair shop and forgot about it. The repairmen discovered the shocking content and reported it to the FBI, then gave a copy of the hard drive to the Post. Joe Biden roundly denounced it as Russian deceit in a debate with Trump and the press along with 50 former government intelligence leaders backed him up. Great…until this month when the New York Times concurred with its competitor, the data was real. Hunter was using his Dad’s name to enrich the Biden family. Election scholars now agree that it could have changed the election results had the story been properly reported and vetted. There wasn’t a young Woodward or Bernstein in the whole sorry bunch to chase the story.
Since the beginning of the pandemic China Flu lockdown two years ago this month, the country has been treated to a lot of lies and clear-cut deceit by the journalistic community in cahoots with the government. Think about it. Masks are a must. Masks don’t work. The vaccines will prevent Covid-19. Even if you get vaccinated you can catch the China Flu. Get a booster shot then you’re safe. Whoops, folks still got it. Even fully vaccinated and boosted Psaki is reported to have it for the second time. Make no mistake the China Flu was and is a particularly nasty disease that affects folks regardless of vaccination status. The confusion and the deceit was and is rampant. The media and the Fauci devotees had folks bathing in Purell, sanitizing doorknobs, produce, and Amazon packages. It continues to be a daunting task, the pursuit of truth regarding this pandemic.
Gasoline has reached an average of $6.00 a gallon in California and the government is still selling the story that it’s Putin’s fault for invading Ukraine. Once again, the corrupt corporate media refuses to examine the facts. They would rather carry Joe’s water then tell the truth that Joe Biden’s executive orders attacking the oil industry day one of his regime is what started the ball rolling. This is deception of the highest order. Oh, and runaway inflation is Putin’s fault as well. What bunk. Nothing more than a flat out lie. Unfortunately, if you call the President a liar, particularly if he’s the old darling of the left, you risk a public humiliation unless you’re Kid Rock who doesn’t give a damn.
The cold hard facts are that Joe Biden was elected President of the United States based on lies and deceit. Didn’t he say that he was going to defeat the virus? "I'm going to shut down the virus, not the country," he said. He didn’t. More people have died from Covid under his watch than when Trump was President. Didn’t he say that his son’s nefarious activities were just Russian disinformation? Now his pals at the New York Times can’t back him up. Joe told us that he would restore calm and increased prosperity to the Nation. Not so. The progressive policies concocted by his basement advisors have created ruinous economic conditions. Just ask Joe Sixpack how he’s doing at the gas station and the grocery store compared to when Trump was President.
Lies and deceit are the karma that has brought Joe’s approval rating to 36% and even lower among the independents who voted for him. This blog started two years ago to make the reader question what the news is and isn’t, simply put. The musings found here are admittedly conservative…for a reason. No one has yet demonstrated that the current progressive leftist Democrat programs have improved lives, opportunities, and the future prospects of Americans.
