Weasels
Besides being a small carnivore, a weasel also applies to a person who is a sneak, untrustworthy or insincere and who deceives and is irresponsible. The phrase "weasel out," means to get out of something or to avoid responsibility. Lately, there have been some world class “weasels” in the news.
Dr. Anthony Fauci testified before the House Oversight Committee this week regarding his role in the Covid-19 Pandemic. To hear his account of his actions during the pandemic, before the members of the committee, was some of the finest revisionist history ever heard. According to Fauci the “6 foot distancing” mandate just appeared. There was no lab leak in China as the virus was more than likely caused by natural origination. Further he did not advocate the sweeping shutdown of the United States, even though there was evidence that contradicted this edict. He also claims that he had nothing to do with the “gain of function” research in the Wuhan lab, despite earlier evidence that he did. Dr. Fauci in the three hours he spoke before the House Committee, revealed himself to be a world class weasel. At 83, he demonstrated that he could dance better than Michael Jackson or Fred Astaire.
Not to be outdone, Attorney General Merrick Garland appeared before the House Judiciary Committee to explain the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) position on a number of issues. One of the ridiculous highlights, among many, was when he claimed Trump supporters who question the Department's influence on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's case against Trump, as "conspiracy theorists." Never mind that former Acting Associate Attorney General Matthew Colangelo who was the number three DOJ Prosecutor under Biden, a very senior and distinguished position, suddenly resigned in December 2022. He then took a associates’ role in the prosecution of the President Trump. This happened when Alvin was having trouble prosecuting Trump before a Grand Jury.
In lawyer-land, it is a massive demotion to go from the number three Associate Attorney General at DOJ to a city prosecutor’s office. In weeks after his hire, Trump was indicted on 34 felony counts. Matthew Colangelo did his job and he even helped prosecute him in the trial. This is someone with frequent and direct contact with AG Merrick Garland. Does anyone in their right mind think this wasn’t coordinated from the top? Of course Weasel Merrick’s lips were sealed tighter that a super glued clam.
“I’ve done all I can do. Just give me the power. I’ve asked from the very day I got into office. Give me the Border Patrol. Give me the people, the judges. Give me the people who can stop this and make it work right.” These are the words of President Joe Biden on January 30, 2024. This week Joe Biden announced that after three and a half years of allowing people to illegally entering the Nation and claim asylum, illegals will have to make an appointment on a government appliction first and only 2500 per day can enter. His Regime thinks that one executive order will solve the problem when Biden voided dozens of Trump’s executive orders on the border his first day in office.
Republicans and border state Democrats are denouncing Biden's new policy. The order has had no measurable effect on the number of illegals entering the Nation. After processing by the Border Patrol, those crossing in Jacumba, California, are loaded onto government buses and dumped at transportation hubs in San Diego, free to go anywhere they want. Maybe Joe’s plan is to pretend he’s tough on the border, fool the folks and still blame Republicans for why America has an open border. His policies define the definition of weasel more than you could possibly believe.
However, the prohibitive winners of “Weasel Week” are the 51 intelligence officers who lied when they called Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop “Russian disinformation” during the 2020 presidential election. U.S. Justice Department Special Counsel David Weiss has proven that the Apple laptop was the real deal, based on FBI testimony in the Delaware illegal gun possession trial of Hunter Biden. Joe, the progressive media, and multiple Democrat campaign operatives misled the electorate in October 2020 about the Biden family’s nefarious activities, thanks to 51 weasels.
The United States needs to elect an exterminator to rid the country of government weasels. Terminix can’t do the job and Joe won’t. Maybe if we get enough anti-weasel folks to show up in record numbers on November 5th, government weasels will become an endangered species.
