Political Ghouls

The term "political ghouls" is a metaphorical expression used to describe individuals or groups in the political sphere whose actions are perceived as unscrupulous, predatory, or exploitative, particularly during times of crisis or tragedy. Political ghouls thrive on misfortune, often capitalizing on situations for personal or partisan gain.

The chief political ghoul is Senator Chuck “U” Schumer who is increasingly seen as an opportunist, feasting on the government shutdown crises to advance his own agenda, saving his butt from a senate primary challenge from Rep. Sandy Cortez (D-NY). He is aided and abetted by House Minority Leader Hakeen Jefferies (D-NY). They are manipulating public opinion by spreading misinformation and emotionally charged rhetoric that diverts attention from the real issue...spending $1.5 trillion to subsidize health care for illegal immigrants and fund Obamacare premiums. Democrat skullduggery.

He and his fellow ghouls are using leverage to undermining trust in democratic institutions and processes by fearmongering that the evil Republicans will cause mass starvation. The government shutdown will cause Federal workers to lose their paychecks and the disadvantaged lose their food stamps. But the truth is simple, the Democrats are holding the Americans hostage for what they say is “leverage”.

Consider what prominent Democrats have said regarding this use of leverage against the Republicans. Senator Bernie Sanders said, "If we reopen the government and we lose our leverage.” House Democrat Whip Katherine Clark stated, "Of course there will be families that are going to suffer… but it is one of the few leverage times we have. If you reopen the government, we lose our leverage". No quotes from these selfish loons would be complete unless there was one from Sen. Chuck “U” Schumer who recently said, “Every day gets better for us.” What a putz.

One sane Democrat, Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman said that Americans should not be used as leverage in the government shutdown. He is on the record saying, “I follow country, then party. I would love to have a conversation on health care subsidies, but the shutdown is wrong for the country. I can’t vote for shutting the government down.”

Senate Majority Leader John Thune angrily said, "SNAP (Food stamps) recipients shouldn't go without food. People should be getting paid in this country. And we've tried to do that 13 times. You voted no 13 times. This isn't a political game. These are real people's lives that we're talking about.” It is rare to see Senator Thune this upset. Why is this happening? Because the Democrats want more money to spend on Obamacare and illegal alien healthcare.

The reason the Democrats want to increase spending on Obamacare is because they want to bankrupt the system. They want so much money going into it, that the federal government has to take over the whole health care system and run it like Canada and Great Britain. That's what the Democratic Party wants. Socialized medicine. On March 23, 2010, Obamacare passed, the estimate then was for 2010-2019, it would cost the taxpayer, $130 billion in subsidizes.

Turns out that it cost $800 billion when the estimate was $130 billion. The idea was to underwrite the less fortunate, so they have health insurance. If it keeps going this way and the Democrats get what they want, it'll be $1.3 trillion between 2025-2034. That’s the latest estimate. According to most economists, that is unsustainable. It will bankrupt the United States. You cannot give everyone subsidized health care, especially those who are in the country illegally.  So, what's needed? A new health care law. Rewrite Obama’s health bill and throw the old one out the window.

This strategic use of this crisis highlights how political ghouls prioritize power over principled governance. By framing debates in terms of leverage and advantage, rather than the well-being of everyday Americans, they contribute to a toxic political climate. An environment where genuine solutions are overshadowed by partisan maneuvering. Their actions serve as a reminder of the importance of holding public officials accountable and demanding transparency in political decision-making.

While the phenomenon of "political ghouls" is not new, its effects can be particularly pronounced in the modern era of instant communication and social media. CNN’s Jakle Tapper had an interview with Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) who said, "Let me be clear, the administration is choosing to starve American children with money that they already have appropriated. This is a choice by the White House. They are choosing to cut off food assistance." Shockingly, Tapper pushed back and said, "Congresswoman, this is also a choice by Senate Democrats to not vote to open the government." Melanie was flummoxed. However, most of legacy media will not challenge their ghoulish behavior but will continue to blame Trump for this shutdown when it’s clearly the Democrats who are responsible for it.

It’s up to the citizens to play a vital role in ensuring that public leaders act in the genuine interest of society. Perhaps if they knew what self-serving ghouls they really were, they would stop voting for the likes of these soulless politicians.

It would be a real trick if the Nation were treated to some sanity from the liberal left.
