Resurrection

While Christians around the world were celebrating the resurrection of the Nazarene, the Democrats were trying to figure out how to resurrect their party. They spent the better part of Easter week trying to figure out how they were going to rescue deported illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Compound that with the “Fighting Oligarchy” tour that Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Sandy Cortez (AOC) are on, and you discover a political party that is way out of touch with the American mainstream. Let’s start with Garcia.

Who is this man? “He’s just a Maryland Dad from El Salvador”, say the progressives. According to most reputable sources, he was a known MS-13 gang member, as evidenced by the tattoos that he proudly displayed in several pictures. The county sheriff in Maryland where he lived, said he was 1000% convinced that Garcia was a gang member. Nevertheless, the legacy media continued to describe him as a hard-working Maryland resident who worked at Home Depot. A pillar of society. Truth be known; the man was a day worker who hung around the facility looking for odd jobs.

While Democrats spend their time obsessing over this MS-13 gang member and wife beater, more information about him is surfacing. He's in the news more than Trump is these days.  A new report suggests something strange was going on when he was pulled over on a Tennessee highway in 2022. The officer at the time suspected there was a human trafficking incident taking place. We're being told that Garcia was driving a car belonging to a convicted smuggler with 7 illegals who have no luggage. Go figure, somebody drives with no license from Texas to Maryland with seven strangers. Hitchhikers? Hardly. You put it all together.

Nevertheless the Democrats, led by Senator Chris Van Holen (D-MD), traveled to El Salvador in a political stunt to hang with a provable criminal alien. They actually thought they could free him. Someone tell these loons that El Salvador is a sovereign nation and can administer their own brand of justice to their citizens, regardless of what members of Congress say. At this point, can they be this incredibly stupid? Evidently yes.

Not content with the Garcia issue, the Dems are flocking to New Orleans to visit a foreign student who is in custody, pending deportation for leading anti-semitic protests at Columbia University. They claim he was simply exercising his right to free speech. It wasn’t that simple, as Jewish students were harassed and prevented from attending classes. Foreign students with visas do not have the right to participate in the denial of American citizens’ rights.

Then there’s the “Fighting Oligarchy” tour, starring Bernie Sanders and Sandy Cortez. Traveling like landed gentry on $15,000 per hour private jets, these two freedom fighters claim they are out to save democracy from billionaires Elon Musk and Donald Trump. Disingenuity doesn’t begin to describe their hypocritical message. 

Bernie is a multi-millionaire who owns several homes including a lakefront dacha in Vermont, where he can relax and husband his assets. Sandy lives large but denies that she has a net worth over a million bucks. Yet, she is seen as a guest at high end fundraisers and charity events.  Her friends are incredibly generous and hunger for her presence with all the other progressive “swells”. Ordinary folks won’t be found within a mile of these events. Spare us the “woman of the people” crap Sandy.

This “resurrection” of the Democratic Party is being led by its Vice Chairman, David Hogg.  25-year-old Hogg is widely known as a rabid gun control advocate, as a result of his experience as a student at a Miami high school shooting in 2018. This noisemaker has elbowed his way to prominence through shameless self-promotion as the future of the Democratic party. His intent is to primary the old guard currently in office, and replace them with leftists of his ilk. Well known Democrat strategist James Carvelle has referred to him as a “little twerp”, hellbent on destroying the party.

So, if this is the agenda of progressive Democrats and the DNC (Democratic National Committee), it would appear that they have definitely picked the wrong hill to die on.  The vast majority of Americans are not in step with their latest lunacy. Or Maybe DNC really is the acronym for “Defend Non Citizens” or “Do Not Care”.

It would be refreshing if the legacy media, instead of pounding Trump every day, would examine the foregoing and tell the truth for a change, about the Democrat “Resurrection”.

It would shake things up and be a surprising change of pace.
