SCOTUS

A lot going on in June, the beginning of summer, weddings, graduations, and the end of the Supreme Court’s term which started on the first Monday of last October. The rulings announced by the court every June are game changing, but not as significant as this latest get together by the Justices. So far, the Court has ruled on babies, guns, God, immigration, and the environment.  Four out of the five major decisions have sent the lunatic left over the edge.

Now if these progressive fascists had ever read the Constitution of the United States, and more importantly understood it, the rulings wouldn’t have made them apoplectic. The moaning and caterwauling resonated throughout the Country, inciting in some cities, riots and theft, when Roe v. Wade was repealed.  Nothing soothes the soul when one is upset about a court ruling like a stolen Rolex.

Roe v. Wade

Despite the ruling the procedure will remain largely available in the USA, some states will attempt to eliminate as it is no longer federal law, but it will be up to the voters to decide the limits. The right to abortion is not in the Constitution.  Therefore, what’s not in the Constitution as mandated by the Tenth Amendment reverts to the individual states to decide. States like New York and California will continue to allow abortion anytime for any reason. Even socialist liberal countries in Europe such as Germany, Italy, Spain, France, and England have far more restrictions on abortion than the United States. Currently Canada, China, Russia, and America have the most liberal abortion laws in the world.

Guns

When the Supreme Court declared New York State's refusal to allow law-abiding citizens to carry legally purchased handguns unconstitutional, there was an immediate outcry that New York would look like the Wild West.  What nonsense.  The wailing loons who watch and believe everything on “The View” don’t understand that criminals already have handguns. There isn’t one criminal who got a gun from an honest dealer and went through all the scrutiny and the background checks necessary to make a purchase.  In New York or California buying a weapon is the equivalent of a full body cavity search at the airport. Your entire life is examined back to first grade. Criminals are armed and the honest folks aren’t.  The Founders wanted honest people to be able to protect themselves from evil predators, which is the essence of the right to bear arms. It will remain possible to buy a weapon and get a carry permit, but it will be an arduous process in the above-mentioned states.

Prayer

Joe Kennedy was a football coach at Bremerton High in Washington State. After a game, he would go to the middle of the field, kneel, and say a prayer. Sometimes his players joined him, but he didn’t ask them too.  It was purely voluntary, not required by Coach Kennedy. Washington is one of the most progressive, secular states in the Union. They got rid of him, and he sued. It wound through the courts and ended up the Supreme Court, where he won.  According to the First Amendment, the federal government can't tell you what to believe and it cannot promote religion, but that doesn't mean you can't pray in public. Joe can pray in public now and that has nothing to do with separation of church and state.

Immigration

The Court held that the Biden regime doesn’t have to enforce the “Remain in Mexico Policy” that was enacted during the Trump Administration.  While upsetting to those who want the border controlled, it doesn’t make that much difference as Joe and his Border Czar, Vice President Harris have shown no desire or commitment to halting the current invasion by enforcing existing laws. Since Joe took an oath to enforce the laws of the Nation, his failure to do so is impeachable.  Fat chance of that ever happening.  The invasion will continue unabated.

Environment

The tree hugging, bugs and bunny folks went nuts when the Supreme Court ruled on Thursday how the Nation’s anti-air pollution regulations cannot be used to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from power plants.  With the 6-3 vote, conservative majority, the court ruled that the Clean Air Act does not give the Environmental Protection Agency broad authority to limit gas emissions from power plants that contribute to global warming. The EPA’s heinous overregulation has created a shortage of power generation throughout the nation as plants have been forced to close or not be built.  This is a legislative issue that should be determined by the Congress and not bureaucrats with a “green” agenda. The Justices aren’t hindering climate regulation, the Court is telling the Executive and Legislative branches to stay in their lanes.

The Court has returned a significant amount of power to the voters this month and enforced the Constitution as the Founders intended.  Those who are unhappy, should make their case for their agenda in a peaceful manner and not recruit the likes of Antifa or Soros-backed fascists as intimidators to force their views on the Country.

June was a great month for the Constitution and the Republic.
