The alleged “journalists” that read and report the news to Americans are guilty in the first degree of creating a manufactured crisis. These ignoramuses are aided and abated by the howling left wing progressive Democrats marching in the streets and holding press conferences.  What’s their beef?  Simple, Elon Musk and the DOGE Raiders are looking at citizens personal financial information…so does the IRS, the Treasury Department, the Social Security Administration, etc. Also, these Raiders have the nerve to expose wasteful government spending.

Now any reasonable person would think that discovering fraudulent and wasteful spending by the Feds would be great. No sane taxpayer wants money spent for circumcisions in Africa (a verifiable fact) or transgender surgeries in Guatemala. Every day more unbelievable and shockingly stupid Federal fiscal spending is being discovered. The reportage of this is scant at best.  The media would rather report on Musk Derangement Syndrome (MDS).

Furthermore, the level of unfamiliarity with national and world history is on display nightly by the legacy media. The alphabet networks have somehow managed to hire writers and reporters who in all likelihood don’t know who attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7th.

Last Sunday, on CBS News’ Face the Nation, host Margaret Brennan managed to equate weaponized free speech in Nazi Germany as the cause for the Holocaust. Secretary of State Marco Rubio schooled Ms. Brennan on the history of that horrific time. After setting her straight all this dunce could say was, “We’re out of time, Mr. Secretary”. 

But CBS didn’t stop there, 60 Minutes ran a piece that glorified German authorities conducting pre-dawn raids on citizens over social media posts. Free speech in Germany? Not happening. Then to compound their progressive credentials, an “interview" with former USAID head Samantha Power’s radical leftwing speech writer Kristina Dye, who attempted to gloss over the discovered corruption in that agency.  She propagandized against the real facts in a manner that would make the Kremlin proud.

CBS News may have overtaken MSNBC and CNN as the premiere anti-American Democratic National Committee marketing outlet in all the land. It doesn't like Trump, MAGA, or anything else on the right.  It has morphed into a left-wing organization trying to convince the country that the Trump Administration is dastardly, and Mr. Musk is a menace to society, freedom, and geniality. But it’s ok to waste taxpayer money?  Where’s your outrage about that CBS?

Not to be outdone NBC commentator Tom Costello attempted to blame President Trump for the Toronto plane crash due to FAA cuts. First, there have been no FAA cuts, in fact plans are in the making by Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy to hire more qualified controllers and enhance their training. Finally, this Delta Airline near tragedy happened under Canadian authority with their air traffic control responsible. Apparently, Tom doesn’t know that Toronto is in Canada.

When there is a full-scale effort to take down a duly elected President by the media, it’s no wonder that social media posts are full of utter stupidity.  The corporate media strategy is simple…everything that Trump does is evil. The abundance of wild eyed, “grassy knoll” posts found on Facebook, Instagram and X (Twitter) give proof to the power of the mainstream progressive media.  Too many folks are taking their reportage as gospel.

Rather than alphabet media reports on the daily revelations of fiscal abuse by the Federal government, folks are treated to the likes of Rep. Sandy Cortez (AOC) yammering about billionaires destroying the civil service.  Not to be out done, other elected officials whine nonstop of the great harm that will befall the Nation if this cost cutting continues.  Not one progressive Democrat has stepped in front of the microphone to agree that there is a lot of fraud and wasteful spending by the government.

The cold hard facts are simply this – the day of honest fair journalism is no more.  A sophisticated, coordinated effort between the Democratic National Committee, the Legacy media and other scurrilous operators are working night and day to preserve what is increasingly being exposed as a corrupt government gravy train. In the coming days this scandal has the potential to rock the Nation to its core.

There is no “constitutional crises”. There is an honesty crisis. Trust in the national media is at an all-time low. Truthful reporting to the citizens has assumed the status of an endangered species. As these dishonest outlets continue to lose viewers and newspapers circulation craters, their management may come to their senses, producing content in the tradition of Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite and Paul Harvey.  If you don’t know who these men are, look them up.

The Nation needs a journalism renaissance, fair, accurate and objective, now more than ever.
