The Slow Boil
Based on recent events, it looks like the Nation’s cooped-up folks have gradually started a slow angry boil at the draconian “lifesaving” measures their elected leaders have enacted. These guidelines are based on what is now arguably flawed data fed to the President and the media by a group of overzealous doctors/scientists. The data and the measures have stirred up skepticism and resistance.
40,000 Californians defied the one-man rule of Gavin Newsome and went to Orange County beaches this past weekend as it was hot. That annoyed him and so effective May 1, Orange County beaches are closed. Thousands have protested the “lockdown’ all over the nation. But the coup de grace was when the Mayor of New York, Bill DeBlasio, personally sent the NYPD to break up a funeral for a beloved Hasidic Rabbi. Thankfully they didn’t. It did have a look reminiscent of Brown Shirts in Nazi Germany unfortunately. Remember tyranny creates anarchy.
The problem is that the elected elites and their pals are not about to adhere to these “quarantine” rules. As an example, reports emerged yesterday that former President Barack Obama made an “essential” trip to his country club in Virginia for a round of golf last weekend. The Mayor of Washington DC and the Governor of Virginia have directed that no one is to leave their home unless that trip is “essential”. Golf is not an “essential” activity. To further compound this display of elite arrogance, the day before he played, former First Lady Michele Obama, had made a Public Service Announcement exhorting folks to stay at home. Her PSA stated that you are to only leave your home if it’s absolutely “essential”. Evidently that doesn’t apply to the former president and his pals. This “essential” outing will not be widely reported by the media.
The media’s primary job these days is not to report elitist’s infractions or the facts. Their job is to gin up the fear of dying from the Chinese Virus anyway they can. They will report that the continued shutdown of the economy will preserve human life, but instead it has created economic chaos that has led to Depression-like economic circumstances.
That fear is evident in the eyes of paranoiac, mask-wearing folks, outdoors avoiding any contact. Those not wearing masks are evil capitalists, pushing to reopen the economy at the expense of humanity. Sadly, this is a reality that needs to be swatted like a fly. The media is rooting for the economy to tank for very partisan reasons. They hate Donald Trump. They are going to fuel fear every chance they get. This isn’t about disease…this is about politics. Why? Simple. The media and the liberal elitists remain deeply invested in defeating President Trump in the upcoming election. If you don’t believe that, look what their allies in social media are up to.
Let’s start with YouTube CEO, Susan Wojcicki, who banned two Bakersfield ER Doctors, Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi from the forum. Their video interview had over 5 million hits, but it violated "YouTube Community Guidelines”. Apparently, their conclusions, that the death rate from the “flu” was far lower than reported and herd immunity was occurring. This was based data resulting from their extensive tests of patients. Therefore, the degree of current lockdown wasn’t necessary. Their results are the same as Stanford University and USC studies on the matter. Those findings conflicted with the World Health Organization views on the Chinese Virus. The same disingenuous WHO that consistently misled the world about the virus from the beginning. YouTube’s policy is to adhere to the WHO directives and findings. Look it up.
Facebook led by Mark Zuckerberg has banned any invitations by subscribers to exercise first amendments rights and create “freedom of assembly” notifications to protest the shutdown of the Nation. The Facebook censors are constantly under fire for enforcing their own versions of the Bill of Rights. Nevertheless, it hasn’t stopped them from their interpretations.
Finally, there’s Twitter, the brainchild of Jack Dorsey, who for starters, has banned any memes of Joe Biden, but have at with President Trump. Account holders who don’t meet the Twitter agenda are regularly suspended for being critical of certain elites or encouraging protests. Maybe they just angered Jack
Freedom and your Constitutional rights, as we have known them, is under assault, a pandemic does not cancel them. The media, with their liberal elite allies, is directing this battle using every propaganda tool available. That fact is in plain sight. The attack will scald those who deny citizens the foundational elements of this country. Whether you like it or not, there is a far bigger problem in America than a Chinese Virus.
