Saturday, June 14th is Flag Day. It is also the 250th anniversary of the United States Army. There will be a parade and celebration in the Nation’s Capital of the Army, that is sworn to protect the Nation from enemies foreign and domestic. The same Army that has defended and kept the United States free.
There will also be counter demonstrations, specifically “No Kings Day”. This is the brainchild of leftists who think that the Army anniversary is really a celebration of President Trump’s birthday, which is coincidently June 14th. What misguided nonsense. In addition to protesting Trump, their gatherings will also feature anti-ICE elements as well. Of course, the legacy media will not report on who is behind this anti-American, anti-Trump bull. These protests are organized by Indivisible, a radical left group founded by Communists.
Meet two of the main suspects behind the scheduled protests, radical Communists Leah Greenburg and Ezra Levin. This married couple and their terrorist operatives co-founded and operate Indivisible.Org. Their stated goal is to overthrow the Constitution and bring about a Marxist society. Both are atheists, and their associated websites train radicals on how to organize, protest, and incite riots. These despicable groups are well-funded through various organizations, including USAID, other NGOs, and some of Soros’ foundations. They are also progenitors of the Los Angeles ICE riots.
But if you listen to the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom or the Mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, you will get a story line that defies logic. These two feckless leaders think that enforcing immigration law, using the military to protect Federal buildings and agents from mob harm, provokes and incites rioting. Those actions, according to Newsom and Bass, are the root cause that made the “peaceful” protests turn violent. However, LA Country Sheriff Robert Luna stated the demonstrations smacked of a well-organized pre-planned operation. How come these “peaceful protesters” need helmets, face shields and backpacks filled with bricks if they are peaceful? Let us know Karen, Gavin.
Newsom gave a campaign-like speech Tuesday night that was fraught with technical difficulties, no audio at times. In his attack on President Trump, Gavin conveniently forgot that President Obama expelled 5.2 million illegal aliens during his tenure. He instead claimed that Trump’s response to the crises when LAPD Chief McConnell stated that his forces were overwhelmed, was unnecessary. Trump had talked to Newsom for 15 minutes telling him in so many words to get his act together. When he didn’t, the National Guard was activated using long Presidential authority.
This cardboard cut-out masquerading as a Governor doesn’t have a clue that Federal law supersedes state sanctuary law. Newsom must be unaware that revealed evidence makes it more obvious every day that this isn’t about ICE rounding up illegal alien criminals, but anarchists using this as an excuse to create chaos. This is not a ground-up, organic protest but a well-coordinated, well-funded effort by those who hate the country.
Congresswoman “Mad” Maxine Waters (D-CA) believes Americans shouldn’t rely solely on their own observations. She asserted that there was no violence during the Los Angeles riots, because she personally witnessed it firsthand. Waters urges people to trust her judgment rather than relying on online videos. Mad Max urged caution against relying solely on what is told or the isolated incidents they may have seen. This woman needs to be put out to pasture.
Sagacious media pundit Brit Hume opined in a recent commentary:
“I’ve seen some things in my life that I thought were politically unsustainable, but I think what Democrats are doing and saying about all this is politically insane. I don’t think there’s anything like majority support for it. This is playing out before a national audience, and it is to the detriment of the Democrats. To the President and Republicans, it’s like picking up money off the street.”
In a news conference Thursday, President Trump said that we have to find a way to allow the migrant farm and hospitality workers who have been here for years to keep their jobs. He doesn’t want to toss them out and create jobs for the criminals ICE is hunting. That doesn’t sound like the heartless dictator the progressive leftists are railing about. Of course, the legacy media won’t report that. You can bet on it.
All anyone has to do is drive around California and look at what years of progressive governance has done to the most beautiful state in the Union. Los Angeles, full of homeless, drug addicted miscreates. San Francisco, the same, but be careful where you step. Taxes at record levels and corruption in government slowly being exposed.
What’s happening in California is not a one off. Call it the beta test for the enemies of the Constitution. These protests are designed to test the limits of law and order…and the patience of Americans.
This is not the vision that folks want for the country. The Nation is being played by these radicals like con artist Henry Gondorff was in the 1973 movie “The Sting”.
