Critical Race Theory

In the never-ending sprint by the Biden regime to change the fundamental foundation of America through their progressive, socialist, Orwellian crackpot proposals is something called “Critical Race Theory”.  This insanity is resident in the “Civics Secures Democracy Act of 2021” which seeks to impose leftist civics instruction in all states and will be managed by the Department of Education.  How?  States that refuse to embrace this program will find that badly need Federal dollars for local schools will be withheld.  Isn’t that blackmail?

Just what is the “Critical Race Theory” curriculum? At its foundation, the contention is that the country and most of its institutions are racist. Critical Race Theory also insists that white people in society have inherited privileges and the unconscious bias, racism, and oppression inherent in white people must be remedied by equity and equality programs. This is not education, it’s a transformation of the entire American culture with instruction that is nothing more than disguised Marxist propaganda. Teaching children that some are succeeding because of patriarchy and white privilege, or teaching some kids to hate themselves because of their birth circumstances is an abomination.  What happened to Martin Luther King’s charge that we look at the content of character not color of skin?

There is a major difference between equity and equality programs. Equity is a Marxist concept; a part of the activist “woke” agenda.  Everyone should get the same grades, take the same classes, no advanced placement because it could make some students feel inferior, and absolutely no class rankings. Equality has been left by the side of the road. The equality programs are not about opportunity, but that everyone gets an equal outcome. Those cannot be mandated but are dependent on individual effort given everyone has equal opportunity to achieve. 

The strategy to implement this foolishness is a combination of Obama’s “Race to the Top” grant program and the use of Federal regulations that managed to impose Common Core standards in math and English on nearly every state. The state-level grant money is large enough that the Leftist education bureaucrats, who dominate even in red states, will have a clear field to apply for federal funding. If conservative governors push back against grants that commit an entire state’s education system to revisionist civics and Critical Race Theory, they will be slammed by Democrats, the education establishment, and the media for refusing badly needed Federal dollars. This is nothing more than a brainwashing campaign designed to alter young minds. 

Is anyone sick and tired of watching politicians like Biden turning our diversity into division? With the focus in the Nation’s schools moving away from basics like math, science, reading, and English composition, the United States is in a race to the bottom when the rest of the world, especially China, is focused on quantum mathematics and learning foreign languages. Programs like Common Core math and making the instruction of it racial, won’t change the fact that two plus two will always be four…not three or five…it has nothing to do with race.  Enough already!

Meanwhile our out-of-touch, detached from reality President remarked last week during Earth Day festivities, “Black, Latino, Indigenous and other communities of color continue to be hit the hardest by the impacts of climate change.” This statement by itself is incredulous and no one in the mainstream media called him out for this utter stupidity. Just like Critical Race Theory, this is yet another example of the continued effort to divide the country.

Once again, Senator John Kennedy (D-LA), not one to mince words, has described President Biden in the following manner, “He has gone full ‘wokerista’… I knew he would be left of center. I didn’t know he would be left of Lenin— and he knows better.”

No one wants to hear that they’re a racist, most Americans are not walking around putting down their black friends or neighbors. Critical Race Theory is not education, its indoctrination. 

An ideology or programs, such as Critical Race Theory that divide, disparage, and destroy should be roundly condemned and eliminated.  

Wake up parents and grandparents, get involved in your local school boards.
