Ghosting

Ghosting is the practice of ending a personal relationship with someone by suddenly, and without explanation, ceasing all communication. The action is usually associated with romantic relationships but can also define withdrawals from friendships and the workplace. People respond to being ghosted in many ways, from feeling indifferent to deeply betrayed.

The Democratic Presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris is a masterful ghoster. Just look at her recent actions with respect to her relationship to Biden Regime she has been a part of for nearly four years. Her withdrawal from the Regime’s agenda is classic ghosting. Joe must feel very lonely and betrayed. It is called political expediency. She has changed her positions a lot. She has had more positions that you’d find in the Kama Sutra.

The latest from this two-faced prevaricator is that she will finish the wall on the southern border that Trump started. What she repeatedly called Trump’s “vanity project” is now part of her campaign narrative. Also, she is no longer in favor of decriminalizing border crossings. Just call her “Lock ‘em up Harris.”

Once upon a time, when she was running her failed 2020 Presidential bid, she declared that the Nation should have Medicare for All. Let’s get rid of all private health insurance was her battle cry. “Let’s move on!” she declared. But now, she is as silent as the Sphinx about the issue.

Another advocated policy by this now icon of the Democrat party was mandatory gun buybacks, otherwise known as confiscations. She had said that she would use Executive Orders to ensure that certain weapons were no longer available. So far, she has not resurrected this loony plan, a clear violation of the second amendment. One of the first actions of Hitler and Lenin when they seized power was to demand that citizens surrender their private weapons.

Of course, no recitations by this new puppet of the deep state would not be complete without an examination of her wacky positions on energy. In the past, offshore drilling was a large no, as was any further development of the vast fossil fuel resources in Alaska. Fracking, a procedure necessary to improve gas and oil production, was definitely not part of her solution to lower the price of these vital resources. But now that fuel is so expensive and she needs to win the electoral votes from Pennsylvania, she’s all in. It’s called hypocrisy.

When she was a Senator, Kamala voted on the bill to mandate electric vehicles and ban all gasoline cars by 2040. Never mind that polls show that most Americans don’t want to plug in their car. Just another piece of evidence about how unrealistic and clueless this green energy genius is.

Because she hasn’t had an original thought since she was supposedly slinging fries at McDonalds (she never worked there it turns out), Kamala stole Trump’s idea that there should be no tax on tips. Naturally, she was widely applauded for this insightful and compassionate tax policy toward hospitality workers. She also made Trump’s call for higher child credit on personal income taxes. At no time has there been an acknowledgement that she stole these ideas from her rival by the media.

Her economic solutions are disastrous. Kamala wants price controls. She wants to raise the capital gains tax and taxes on corporations. Does this neophyte understand that those taxes will tank the fragile economy? Does she have any clue that the more corporations pay will simply be passed along to the consumer? Then there is her love of a tax on unrealized capital gains. That’s a tax on income that has not even been received but perceived by the government. Look it up. All the while she has been Vice President, she has constantly squawked, “Bidenomics works.” Bull. She needs to ghost whoever is giving her fiscal advice.

The media never reports her dumb ideas or flip flops because, as many have said, honest journalism is dead, but propaganda is alive and well. The glowing reportage about a candidate, who less than a year ago was a laughingstock for her lack of gravitas is not surprising. This is thanks to the left-wing progressive slant a vast majority of journalists are guilty of. No one in the history of politics has had more favorable coverage in print and broadcast than Kamala. 89% of the evening news shows have had positive stories about her candidacy. Trump’s is 84% negative.

To tamp down the outcry that she has not done a press conference or interview since her coronation as a Presidential candidate, she sat with her chaperone, Tampon Tim, for a taped interview with Dana Bash on CNN. All the nation got was 18 minutes of equivocating blather. Not kidding. No wonder her handlers are hiding her. She looked indecisive and nervous, constantly looking down. The potential leader of the free world could only manage 18 minutes.

Nothing has changed according to her. She doubled down on price controls. "My policies are completely different, but my values are the same". Say what? No interview would be complete unless the nation was treated to a classic serving of Kamala word salad. "The climate crisis is real that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time." Could someone please interpret this gobbledygook?

Does she have any clue that the folks don’t give a damn about climate change? “It’s the economy, stupid!” said James Carville in 92 and it applies today. Every time Kamala is asked a question without having a pre-arranged answer, one is reminded of the beauty contestant who can only give a clueless valley girl response. Her running mate and chaperone, Governor Walz, dodged a question about carrying a weapon in war but said people know who he is. Sure. In the 90s, an immensely popular sitcom was Seinfeld. It was known as the show about nothing. Kamala and Tim’s CNN interview was Seinfeldian.

The only way she can win this election after this horrible interview is if she continues to get the same fawning, loving, exuberant press coverage that she has had for the last 30 plus days. Chances are looking up that the bloom will come off this gilded rose. The folks are not going to buy this phony baloney Presidential ticket.

The Country does not need this “Ghoster” as its leader. A call to that gang of ghoul removers is in order.
