President Trump’s Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles has disclosed that the Trump rallies are coming back. The 2026 mid-term elections are so important that the President does not want to risk getting shellacked like he did in 2018. The Democrats, thanks to their legacy media allies, had a net gain of 41 seats in the House in that election. So, he’s going back on the road again. He’s going on the road again to make music with his friends.
He held his first rally in Pennsylvania this week. He’s battling the Democratic narrative that consumer prices are going up as a result of his economic management. This is a bald faced lie. The cold hard facts are that the current cost of goods and services are a result of the Biden regime’s deleterious management of government spending. The term “drunken sailors” would be an accurate one describing their Regime’s control of taxpayer dollars. It all started with the passage of the “Inflation Reduction Act” in 2022, a nearly one trillion dollar increase expenditure. Another trillion was spent on the Infrastructure and Jobs Act.
Inflation under Biden accelerated to a 40 plus year high, reaching nearly 10% annualized. This is why the cost of consumer goods and services reached record highs. When you pump that much money into the system, most economic scholars will conclude that inflation reduction is not a viable result. The facts are that Trump inherited a fiscal mess…the “Affordability Crisis”. Trump said in an interview with Politico, “Democrats talking about affordability is like Bonnie and Clyde preaching about public safety.”
Three days after his inauguration, the media was hammering him over the high cost of eggs. This was media bias on overload. He had absolutely nothing to do with egg prices, but the progressive haters were full throated regarding this. Another recent example was the President’s announcement that he was directing 12 billion dollars to America’s farmers who have been struggling as a result of the trade war with China. ABC White House correspondent Rachel Scott implied that these were taxpayer funds, when in fact he was directing tariff revenues to the farmers. And folks wonder why Trump calls them the “fake news”.
President Trump knows that the only way he can explain his economic plans to the Nation is by going over the heads of the legacy media and taking his case directly to the citizens. 2026 will look like another Presidential campaign by all accounts, with rallies scheduled in key states aimed at preserving the current Congressional majority. The Democrats want a majority again so they can cook up another phony impeachment scam and spend the Nation into oblivion. Key members have already announced their intent to pursue this nonsense once again. The country is not well served by these actions and the resulting paralysis of the government.
The strategy of the Democrats in 2026 will be one of going from one outrage to another outrage. Look at what the Nation has seen so far. Senator Chuck “U” Schummer started the year off by railing against DOGE spearheaded by Elon Musk. Never mind that over a billion dollars of fraud was discovered. Then Chuck and his merry band moved onto a spirited defense of Biden’s governance when it was discovered that the “auto-pen” was running the country. Nothing to see there, claimed Chuck, so the Epstein files became a huge talking point for the progressives. Heard anything about Epstein lately?
Another strategic failure was the 43-day government shutdown over extending Obamacare subsidies. The Dems wanted a temporary fix that would cost the taxpayers billions, made permanent. They claimed, and blamed Trump believing health insurance would be taken away from poor Americans, when it was all about the high cost of the Affordable Care Act’s temporary Covid subsidies. This didn’t stop the progressives and the media from piling on the President for his alleged intransigence.
Now it’s all about blowing drug gunboats out of the water. Trump is using the same authority that Obama did to drone terrorists to death in the Middle East. No difference. To hear the caterwauling from his distractors you would think that these are indeed innocent shipwrecked fishermen who are victims of unnecessary violence. It’s really laughable to hear the media reports that drug runners are somehow suffering.
President Trump is resuming his public appearances due to the persistent criticism he faces from progressive political figures and the legacy media. Governor Newsom and Governor Pritzker have organized daily press conferences to criticize every action taken by the Administration, disregarding the rationale or potential benefits to the nation. These pronouncements are widely reported by the media. Even the suspiciously corrupt Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota has contributed to the discourse.
The legacy media will never give the man a fair shake. Get used to it. They wouldn’t report Biden’s daily discombobulation but now speculate about Trump’s mental well-being. He gave an hour and a half speech this week, something Biden never did in four years.
He’ll be traveling, making political music with friends in ’26, to present his case for making America great…a second time.
